I know nothing about photography or editing. If I ever take a photo, I use my phone. I never edit photos and I guess that means I don't like it or have any interest.

Tell me about your weekend. Share pics!

This weekend played in the football game on Friday. We scored 70 points and Gardner was very bad. On Saturday my family went over to our family friends house and we watched football and ate barbecue. On Sunday I watched football again and cheered my fantasy football team on. My  team ended up winning so I was happy.

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.


I get this point of view and understand it, but I don't agree with the idea that blue valley should hold us to a higher standard in clothing simply because that's how we will have to dress later in life when at work. Obviously this doesn't affect me and it doesn't bother me what opinion someone has on this issue, but i think that people should dress how they want to and not have to wory about someone saying something to them about it

The perfect curriculum would be learning things that would actually benefit you later in life. I seriously doubt I'm going to need to know all of the stuff i learn in math class and chemistry class. Every student should be able to take classes that they think will benefit them later in life. So if a person thinks they want to go into business, they shouldn't have to learn stuff for chemistry because that will be useless for them later in life. So I think school should have less requirements to graduate so students can take more classes that will benefit them.

Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!

Homecoming weekend was very fun. I went with a group of my friends to dinner and then to an after party. We also had pictures outside and it was very hot. Everybody was sweating and just wanted to get inside. At dinner, I had a filet mignon. It was good, but it was very little food for a really expensive price. The after party was at Matilda Brooks' house and our whole group went there. It was a fun night.

I agree with what she is saying. As a boy, I obviously don't have a problem with the girls dress code, but i can see how it would be annoying and embarrassing to girls. And as a boy, whatever a girl is wearing is never distracting to me. Schools should probably have a more justified reason to make girls change what they wear than it can be distracting to boys because it is not. I get that it might be weird for administrators if a girl is wearing a certain outfit, but not weird enough to make the person go change. This issue really doesn't affect me, but i would have to say I would agree with Riley Miller.

Over the weekend i went to Emporia State to watch my brother play football. He plays football for Lindenwood University. They lost, but it was still go to see my brother. On Sunday it was my dads birthday. We watched NFL football and the Royals on Sunday. It was very exciting to see the Royals advance to the ALCS. I love the Chiefs and the Royals and my favorite place is Arrowhead and Kauffman stadium.
